What to visit in 3 days in Ajaccio and the villages of the Ajaccio region

Day 1

Discover Ajaccio

Eating out

A walk in the Ajaccio region will certainly whet your appetite. It's a good thing, because the Ajaccio region is full of classic village or country inns, which offer menus that have remained unchanged for ages and are invariably tasty: a plate of charcuterie, country soup, omelette with mint bruccio, grilled lamb with honey, veal with olives, cheeses... The simplicity is sometimes memorable.

Outdoor activities

Make the most of your getaway in the Ajaccio hinterland to combine activities with the beauty of the landscape. On land, in the water or in the air, the Ajaccio region offers a multitude of outdoor activities. Hiking, canyoning, accrobranche park, climbing, via ferrata, mountain biking... With family or friends, live your experience to the full in the heart of a wild and preserved nature.

Day 3

Going for a walk

Take advantage of the morning to enjoy our traditional market (delicatessen, fruit, vegetables or seafood...). Then, head for rue Fesch, our pedestrian street. It has kept its charm and authenticity. It is very pleasant to walk around and have a drink. You will find modern, colourful or atypical shops with different products (ready-to-wear, handicrafts...). It is also the ideal street for souvenir shopping. As for culture, don't hesitate to visit the Palais Fesch - Musée des Beaux-Arts. A surprising place.
Continue your walk along the Cours Napoléon. Ajaccio's main thoroughfare, it is a very pleasant place to stroll. You will find the biggest brands (ready to wear, cosmetics, decoration...) and fashion boutiques with attractive windows.

Lunch by the sea

And at lunchtime? Why not have lunch in one of those establishments on the waterfront, on the border between the city and the beach, which give the impression of being on holiday. Otherwise, in a real straw hut, sheltered by palm branches, where you are really on holiday.

Water sports activities

All along the shoreline and beaches of the Ajaccio region, numerous service providers will welcome you for a variety of water sports activities. Catamaran or semi-rigid boat trips, jet skiing, diving, sea kayaking, paddling or sea fishing, there is something for everyone. The choice is yours...
