Must-see tours

Napoleon Bonaparte's birth room

Ajaccio: the old town and the Maison Bonaparte

On this walking tour, you'll cross Ajaccio's old town, with its narrow streets and colorful facades. Discover the emblematic sites of this ancient district, such as Place Foch, Rue Bonaparte and the Cathedral.... The tour ends with a visit to the Maison Bonaparte, the birthplace of the French Emperor Napoleon.

Grand Gallery of the Palais Fesch, Musée des Beaux Arts

Masterpieces from the Palais Fesch, Musée des Beaux-Arts

The Palais Fesch boasts the richest collection of Italian paintings after the Louvre. Its collection comprises works dating from the 14th to the 20th century. Among the nearly 450 works on display are masterpieces by Botticelli, Titian, Veronese and Poussin. A surprising place to visit with our guide to appreciate all its richness.

The citadel of Ajaccio

Long closed to the public, the Ajaccio citadel opened its doors in 2021. However, a large part of the site, where historic vestiges remain (Genoese fortress, underground passages, WW2 cells, walkway on the ramparts), is still inaccessible... unless you take the tour with our guide. He'll take you on an exclusive tour of these places, which are still closed to the public, and make you feel truly privileged.

The aperitif tour

This 2-stage tour is ideal for team building.

Stage1: the tour of Ajaccio takes the form of a "true/false" quiz. As the historical explanations unfold, the guide tests you by punctuating his guided tour of Ajaccio with imaginary and not-so-imaginary anecdotes... It's up to you to distinguish the true from the false. Beware: our guide has a vivid imagination.

Stage2: arrive at a downtown wine bar, and enjoy a tasting session with a Master Sommelier. He'll take you through 3 Ajaccio PDO wines, distilling their specific characteristics with professionalism and humor. Good times ahead.

Mini group tours

Ajaccio and red gold

Immerse yourself in the Ajaccio of the corailleurs. Discover the story of the fishermen who harvested the red gold of the Mediterranean, risking their lives in the process. The tour concludes with a meeting with Anne-Marie, an artisan jeweler, who will teach you the art of coral cutting in the heart of her workshop-boutique.

The Sanguinaires cemetery

With its chapels facing the sea, the marine cemetery seems to watch over the town.

Let yourself be guided through this place of remembrance, where Ajaccio families and illustrious figures are buried side by side: the famous Tino Rossi, the resistance fighter Fred Scamaroni, François Coty, the great perfumer, and also the writer Dorothy Carrington...
