Sarrola Carcopino is made up of two charming hamlets nestled into the mountainside, offering a beautiful view of Ajaccio.
The surrounding area offers access to one of the highest peaks in the Ajaccio region: La punta Sant éliseo at 1271 M; the walk is very beautiful and along the path you can discover magnificent landscapes on both sides.
Each hamlet is also guarded by a tower-house. Sarrola Carcopino, with its beautiful pink granite houses, narrow streets, vaulted ceilings and whitewashed walls, is also one of Corsica's leading communes in terms of the number of producers. Some of these are highly reputed (cheeses, essential oils, saffron...).
