Nestled in a forest of chestnut trees, the village is said to be "visible from the sea but invisible from the road to those who approach it"
The church houses a listed Virgin and Child (17th century), which can be visited by appointment.
On the plain, a turtle breeding center (A Cupulata) in the heart of a site that is the only one of its kind in Europe, with 130 species and more than 2,000 animals (open all year).
