The Pays d'Ajaccio Tourist Office has been a partner of ADEME (l'Agence de la Transition Ecologique), since 2022, and until 2025, on two key operations, financed as part of "Destination France".
As part of the sustainable tourism fund (2022-2024)
The "Sustainable Tourism Fund" is a financial support scheme for tourist accommodation, restaurants and agritourism operators. It enables them to reduce their fixed costs as well as their environmental impact, with around 70 eligible actions. Between September 2022 and December 2024, the OIT is partnering with ADEME on this scheme to help local professionals benefit from this public aid, notably through the recruitment of a sustainable tourism project manager, who has completed individual pre-diagnoses with companies and helped them submit their applications to ADEME.

AS PART OF OUR SLOW TOURISM, AGRITOURISM AND WINE TOURISM OPERATIONS (2023-2025)
The Tourist Office has been selected as one of the winners of this national call for projects on "emerging forms of tourism". In this way, the ADEME is renewing its confidence in the Tourist Office, in this highly selective call for projects, for which we are the only prizewinner selected in Corsica. Thanks to this new partnership, ADEME will be co-financing actions carried out by the Tourist Office over the period October 2023 to April 2025, such as :
- A Chacun sa Saison en Pays d'Ajaccio" programs (spring, autumn, Christmas)
- Slow tourism offers around " Exclusive Experiences ", in particular to promote encounters with producers and craftsmen, the discovery of the natural and cultural heritage of the Ajaccio region, the possibility of discovering the area by train or on foot or horseback... ;
- Offers promoting agritourism (farm visits, tastings of local products with producers and craftsmen, etc.).
- Wine tourism offers(Saint-Vincent, Ajaccio PDO evenings, etc.)
