At Prova, it is a brasserie formula at lunchtime and in the evening it is tapas to share for the aperitif; all in a room with a refined decoration.

The Cours Napoléon, Ajaccio's main thoroughfare, is home to the city's most emblematic establishments such as The Grand Café Napoléon whose opening dates back to 1830. Sit down at its table and discover its imperial menu.

The Diamond Brewery offers you a breathtaking view of the Place de Gaulle (known as the Diamant).

A romantic dinner

What could be more romantic than a dinner with a view of the fishing port Port Tino Rossi? Book a table at Rendez-Vous. A traditional and refined cuisine will enchant your taste buds. Afterwards, take a walk along the quays to admire the boats moored there...

When it's cold, it's nice to be in a cosy place. It is under the vaulted ceiling of La Cave du Cardinal that you will dine in warmth. Let yourself be guided by the food and wine pairings recommended by the staff.
If you wish to stay for a while, go directly to the Cave du Cardinal shop to choose a good bottle of wine and some sweets to accompany it...

What to give to your partner?

No Valentine's Day without a gift! And a gift typical of the region is, in addition, a nice souvenir of your escapade.

On the Cours Napoléon, the boutique-atelier A Manu offers jewellery made of semi-precious stones with a "hand", a traditional Corsican protection amulet.

As you walk through the narrow streets of the old town, you will see the shop where Marie-Christine Marovelli, a glassmaker, displays her creations. Her jewels are unique pieces that she makes in her workshop.

WHAT SPECIALITIES TO BRING IN YOUR SUITCASE?

And what if your escapade continued even after you returned home? Go to the delicatessen and buy canistrelli, the traditional biscuits of the region. You can eat them for breakfast or a snack and they will remind you of the relaxing weekend in the Ajaccio region. Go to the biscuit factory Camedda House and at Ferrero House to discover the different assortments.

If you are more of a savoury type, you should know that they are now available as aperitif biscuits; and when you say aperitif* you say Ajaccio PDO wines. You will find good bottles in our wine shops but also directly from the wine growers.
Located on the heights of Ajaccio, the Domaine Comte Peraldi welcomes you to the heart of its vineyards.
