Presentation
What to do in the Ajaccio region?
Situated on the Isolella peninsula, near the Punta di Sette Nave, this Genoese tower is a real little belvedere overlooking not only the magnificent little coves of the peninsula, but also the whole of the Gulf of Ajaccio. A well-maintained path, barely five hundred metres long, makes it very easily accessible. The tower was renovated in 1970 and is therefore in perfect condition; one can admire, for example, the red brick cordon, the machicolations and even the bolt holes in which the ends of the beams carrying the floors were threaded.
